The boom type lifting machinery has a lifting mechanism, a variable amplitude mechanism, and a torsion mechanism. By relying on the mutual cooperation of these mechanisms, heavy objects can be lifted and transported within a certain cylindrical space. Boom type cranes are often installed on vehicles or other transportation (mobile) tools, forming a mobile boom type crane, such as truck cranes, tire cranes, crawler cranes, gantry cranes, etc. There are also some types of boom cranes that are fixed, such as fixed mast cranes, cantilever cranes, etc.
The elevator only has one lifting mechanism, but there are many other subordinate devices in the elevator. The characteristic of elevators is that heavy objects or retrieval devices can only be lifted and lowered along guide rails, such as simple elevators, construction elevators, etc. The technical parameters of lifting machinery indicate its operational capability, which is the fundamental basis for designing lifting machinery and the basic knowledge that all lifting machinery operators must master.
The lifting height H refers to the vertical distance from the parking surface of the lifting machinery (double beam crane - double main beam gantry crane) to the allowable highest position of the lifting device. For hooks and forks, it is calculated to their support profile; for other lifting devices, it is calculated to their lowest point (closed state). For bridge cranes, the lifting height should be measured from the ground by placing them unloaded above the ground. The descent depth h refers to the vertical distance between the lowest working position and the supporting surface of the crane. Starting from the supporting surface of the hook and fork; For other lifting devices, calculate from their lowest point (closed state). The descent depth of the bridge crane from the ground level should be measured by placing it unloaded above the ground level and measuring its descent depth.
According to different manufacturing methods, hooks can be divided into forged hooks and plate hooks. Forged hooks are generally made of high-quality carbon steel of grade 20, which is forged, stamped, annealed, and then machined. Forged hooks can be made into single hooks and double hooks. Plate hooks are generally used on lifting machinery with large lifting capacity. Plate hooks are made by overlapping and riveting formed plates with a thickness of 30mm. The plate hook is equipped with a protective plate, which is generally made of steel plates rolled from Q235A, Q235B or 16Mn steel. Plate hooks are also divided into two types: single hooks and double hooks. Single hooks are mostly used in forging lifting machinery.
